Employer brands and recruiters are wondering how to engage with their talent pools at the moment.
What approach do you take to your talent marketing when jobs are thin on the ground?
The choice is simple. You support jobseekers. In any way you can.
Here are three ways to do that:
1.) Free Branding
The founder of Duet Journal Paul Drury has written job search content since 2012. He stopped his ghostwriting business in 2023 (thanks, AI). Having written 200+ personal job search blogs, he created a website www.jobsearchadvice.io so that his content resources can still be consumed by jobseekers.
We are now offering recruiters and employer brands the opportunity to feature your brand directly on the website. For free. In return, we hope that you will share the content directly with your talent pools.
There is so much semi-promotional content on the LinkedIn feed these days. Not much in the way of deeper job search advice. Hopefully, this will make a difference to jobseekers.
Recruiter / employer branding will start in December 2024.
2.) Anonymous Journaling
Recruiters pay for a selection of their talent pool to journal anonymously with Duet Journal. Most run a quarterly draw to decide which jobseekers get the Duetist places.
Jobseeker Duetists share their anonymous thoughts with Paul Drury every day. Paul used to be a recruiter and then was a recruitment / HR ghostwriter for more than a decade. He is perfectly placed to listen and offer asynchronous support and coaching.
Individual jobseekers join a cohort of 15+ Jobseeker Duetists and journal anonymously for 3 months. They receive asynchronous job search support (with unlimited Duets) from a job search expert. The cohort receives the same Duet Code, ensuring anonymity.
Recruiters and employer brands pay £80/month per Jobseeker Duetist.
3.) Wellness Content
As mentioned, Paul Drury has been writing job search content since 2012.
While he might not be ghostwriting anymore, he continues to write wellness-led content for employer brands and recruiters to share with their talent pools.
This is long-form, thoughtful content – carefully researched and targeted.
It is not intended for bite-sized LinkedIn updates.
Paul works closely with each client to understand their needs.
