Who are Outplacement Duetists?
Employers purchase Duet Codes to enable departing employees from the retail and consumer goods industries to journal anonymously.
Why? Because employers have a duty of care for the mental fitness of leavers – until they find a new job.
Outplacement Duetists need to confide in someone.
As a former retailer (B&Q and Kingfisher), retail recruiter and then HR ghostwriter, Paul Drury is ideally placed to help.
Outplacement Duetist Process:
1. Outplacement Duetists receive a group Duet Code from their employer – minimum cohort of 5 Duetists.
2. Outplacement Duetists create an anonymous Signal account with Duet Handle – @Simba.71 (etc)
3. Outplacement Duetists send one daily journal entry Duet (with the Duet Code) to @Parzival.11.
4. Parzival.11 replies with daily journal prompts.
Anonymity: As Outplacement Duetists join a cohort of 5+ and share the same Duet Code, Paul Drury does not know the identities behind individual Duet Handles.
Duet Codes are changed once a month. They are transferable at the employer’s discretion.
There are also Employee Duetists, Executive Duetists, and Jobseeker Duetists.
